How to Set Up IPTV on Android TV

1. Install a TV-optimized player

Android TV needs an app designed for a remote control. TiviMate and IPTV Smarters Pro are the most popular. Install from the Play Store on the device, or the official website.

2. Add your playlist

1. Open the app and go to Settings → Playlists → Add.
2. Enter the M3U URL or Xtream credentials.
3. Save. The app will fetch and organize your channels.

3. Add EPG

In the same playlist settings, add an XMLTV EPG URL. This gives you the "what's on now" program guide.

4. Use the guide

Navigate with the remote. Use the program guide, favorites, and channel groups to find content quickly.

Troubleshooting

• No channels load: check the playlist URL and internet connection.
• Buffering: use a wired connection or move closer to the router.
• No EPG: confirm your EPG URL is valid in the playlist settings.
