How to Add EPG

What is EPG?

EPG stands for Electronic Program Guide. It is usually delivered as an XMLTV file that maps channel IDs to scheduled programmes. Adding an EPG URL to your player gives you a grid of current and upcoming shows.

Adding EPG

1. Open your player's Playlist or EPG settings.
2. Paste an XMLTV EPG URL.
3. Ensure the EPG channel IDs match the channel IDs in your playlist, or use the player's channel/EPG mapping tool.
4. Save and refresh the guide.

In popular players

• TiviMate: Settings → EPG → Add EPG source.
• IPTV Smarters: add the EPG URL alongside your playlist.
• Kodi / IPTV Simple Client: enter the XMLTV URL in the add-on settings.

Common issues

• Guide is empty: channel IDs in the playlist do not match the EPG. Remap them in your player.
• Time is wrong: ensure the EPG source uses the correct timezone.
